Office Manager

BounceX is a fast growing startup, and we’re hiring an Office Manager to be the backbone of the office. In this role, you’ll be a member of the People team and will help with anything and everything related to the productivity and happiness of 250 employees, with that number consistently growing. Responsibilities:

  • Order and manage food, drinks, and office equipment for all office locations
  • Manage all vendor relationships including office cleaners, building maintenance, and building security
  • Stay on top of inventory; conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure everything is stocked and in place
  • Assist with organizing company-sponsored events, like karaoke and retreats
  • Answer the main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Be responsible for ordering BounceX swag, including business cards, shirts, notebooks, and other fun items
  • Assist with the onboarding and off-boarding of employees, including coordinating with the IT team as needed
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing deliveries/mail
  • Welcome candidates, clients, and guests to the office
  • Occasional travel booking

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years professional relevant experience, preferably in a tech or start-up office
  • A creative, fast learner who enjoys solving problems and improving processes
  • Friendly with a sense of humor, the patience of a saint, and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Tech-savvy; have a working knowledge of Google products (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.)
  • Proactive with strong communication skills, and assertive when necessary- no passive-aggressive sticky notes, please
  • Hyper-organized, an expert multitasker, and unparalleled time management skills
  • Your apartment is spotless and you find happiness when everything is in its place
  • Familiar with placing catering orders from various NYC restaurants a plus
