Every month we spotlight one of our client partners. This month, we chatted with Rick Almeida, a Boston-based eComm exec, about marketing, thought leaders, and, of course, eCommerce.

1. Choose your adventure: what is your favorite, or least favorite, buzzword recently? Explain why.

“New retail.” As brands or retailers (or both!), we’re constantly reinventing ourselves to meet consumer demands and evolving our go-to-market strategies. “New Retail” is just a rebranding of what we’re already doing.

2. What is the best online or in-store shopping experience you’ve had recently and why?

For me, it’s all about convenience. The last 2 times I really needed something, I leaned on Target (buy online, pick up in store) and Drizly (buy online, deliver ASAP!). Both experiences exceeded expectations with communication and transparency with the process and turn around.

3. If you could have coffee with any thought leader or executive in the world right now, who would it be?
